Otto Hutt started out making writing instruments and pocket accessories made of silver intended for everyday use. Karl Hutt founded the company but its name is taken from his son, Otto, who took over the company from his father in the 1960s. Making items from silver is a tradition which has carried through to today, with many of their pens still featuring parts made from sterling silver.
The only retractable ballpoint pen in Otto Hutt's arsenal, the design03 features a precision-turned CNC barrel made from brass which is then glass-bead blasted to give it its characteristic matte finish. The cap section is coated with matte platinum. The trimmings are finished with glossy lacquer to give this pen a sleek, modern appeal. The Otto Hutt logo can be found on the side of the barrel with a decorative line stretching the length of the barrel. The brass barrel ensures a weighty pen with a luxurious feel.
Refill with Parker G2 Type refills. Supplied with a blue refill. Although not a limited edition, the design03 features a unique 6-digit serial number which is engraved to the clip ring.
